I sleep with earplugs but I still wake up some times because we have those sliding wooden doors and for some reason the people above me seem to be opening and closing theirs all the time. They're not slamming them or anything, but it's still enough to wake me up occasionally.
I thought I'd get a white noise machine and see if that helps drown some of it out.
Have any of you used one of those machines, and if so, did it help?
And any ideas where to find a decent one in Korea?

Thanks

They are very helpful. Especially for my girlfriend since I snore. We bought ours on Amazon and brought it with us. You can also download white noise torrents and then play them on your ipod if you have one of those docking stations.
