According to the legal complaint, the meat mixture sold by Taco Bell restaurants contains binders and extenders and does not meet the minimum requirements set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to be labeled as "beef."

Quote:
Attorney Dee Miles said attorneys had Taco Bell's "meat mixture" tested and found it contained less that 35 percent beef.

YUM! Brands (the company that owns Taco Bell) is taking a swan dive. It's already selling Long John Silver's and A&W since Jan 18th. It seems that both of the brands will end up outside of the USA.

Tace Bell? I'm hearing that its food are getting crappier and crappier every year.

Things will change in the fast-food industry.

My friend moved to Texas for a few years where he ran a small art school. Apparently it was somewhat in the sticks and the only convenient place to eat out was at a Taco Bell. He says he ate there almost every lunch.

He's since been battling Crohn's Disease and is just now starting to look like he's not going to die.

Well, that's bad news for where I live, which pretty much relies upon Yum! Brands, UPS, and Humana. So, here's to hoping you're wrong.

I thought Crohn's was genetic?

Quote:
There is evidence of a genetic link to Crohn's disease, putting individuals with siblings afflicted with the disease at higher risk. It is thought to have a large environmental component as evidenced by a higher incidence in western industrialized nations compared to other parts of the world.

Hmmm, so its plausible that Taco Bell triggered Crohn's Disease.

In his case the exact cause is undetermined (as far as I know), but he'll tell you that he ate like shit and partied quite a bit during half of the eighties and all of the nineties.

I'm probably lucky I don't have it myself.

LGS and A&W will still be operated within the USA. However the central management would most likely be outside of the USA considering the current domestic recession.

Q: What do you call something that isn't meat, vegetable, fruit or grain?

A: Delicious.
