I'm sure this has been asked before... what's the cheapest way to fly somewhere in Asia in February? I'm thinking Thailand or Laos or Vietnam or The Philippines?
Anyone know any good local websites, preferably in English? The Expedia prices are right nutty... I guess because of the lunar new year.
Help is appreciated. |

Air Asia. Get your flight from Incheon to Kuala Lumpur, and then to the other south east Asian countries using KL as a connecting hub.
Try momondo.com as well, they have some good deals and bring up the cheapest sites on the web.
For Thailand, you can also try JinAir, and the Philippines, CebuPacific operates cheap flights.
Hope that helps!

Laos is awesome, but it's a bit of a trek to get to (and difficult to get around) if you're only going to spend a week in the country. Especially if you get stuck in Vang Vieng's quicksand. That said, it's pretty much the anti-Korea, which could provide a nice break. |
