That includes Ilsan! Costco will continue to open early until Wednesday then stores will close at 7 pm and be closed on Thursday, Feb 3.

So, here's the Costco holiday schedule-
Wednesday, Feb 2- 8am-7 pm
Thursday, Feb 3- closed
Friday, Feb 4- open regular store hours
Costco was very corowded this morning with holiday shoppers and others looking for beef and pork. There are current coupons for beef sliced for shabu shabu and marinated bulgogi and the Costco staff couldn't keep up with the demand at the store. There are going to be happy, and wealthier, Australian ranchers. |

I was at the Sangbon Costco Friday afternoon and it was a madhouse. My advice is don't go until after Lunar New Year if you can help it. |

Yeah, it was crazy crowded today. I'm glad they're building a costco near my house in Anyang. |

I was there at 8:15 am and it was already packed. There was a mad dash to the meat counter. I really hate it when the checkout lines go all the way to the back of the store. |

It could be better closer to closing time. I might try going then later today. |

That seems to be the case the past 2 Saturday nights that I've gone there (Baeksoek store). I just make a point of taking a newspaper with me to read while standing in the checkout line that starts half way back into the store. Koreans seem pretty patient and not impolite in these situations.
And no, it doesn't get better nearer to closing time. I was standing in that line until after closing time. |
