I'm heading out for a holiday flying Air Asia and am considering using the new airport train from Seoul Station to get to Incheon. The primary motivation for doing so is that I've heard it is possible to check in, and check your baggage, at Seoul Station (ala Hong Kong). This means I don't have to wait for the check in counters to open at Incheon, thereby allowing for more time to put my feet up in the KAL lounge.
The plan is great in theory, but I'm curious whether anyone knows whether Air Asia passengers can use the check in service? I'm concerned (and wouldn't be surprised) it will be limited to Korean carriers.

| Seoul Station check-in is indeed limited to Korean Air, Asiana, and Jeju Air. |

| either or the new extension seriously rocks. The commuter also takes Busan mybi cards. Just wish it opened a little earlier as having to wait in the cold a couple of weeks ago amongst the zoo that is Seoul Station at 5 am is not exactly thrilling. |
