I am having a little trouble believing the BOM's Forecast Tracking Map.

My memory of cyclones when I lived in Queensland was that they never followed such a straight line trajectory. Also they rarely hit the Queensland coast from so far out. This one originated way out in the middle of the Pacific at Vanuatu. They rarely travel so far westward. Weather systems in this part of the world generally travel eastwards.

Where's Chris? He has a great knowledge of these things.

Who's laughing now, fool???

Seriously, this is no laughing matter.

What on earth, in that post, made you think I was laughing?

Before you start calling people names read carefully.

... I have no words for that. Other than 'relax'

Trust me, I am perfectly relaxed. It wasn't anger that made me write the post, it was astonishment. Astonishment that anyone could make such a daft assessment of another person's post.

I'm astonished that you saw it as a genuine, remotely serious statement, rather than just stealing references apt for the situation (that is, you being wrong)

Bolded part-I've got no idea what you are talking about. I have a feeling you don't either. Do you bother reading your posts before you post them? And wrong about what?

I do know a person who works in Australia as a railway technician. He's not that happy about the recent natural disasters.
