My friend told me there are a couple places by him that let you make a cake with someone in the store. Sounds like a good date thing. Anyone know something like this in Seoul? Thanks.

Yes, it's called Dan Hana Self-Make Cake. They are scattered around Korea.

Here's a link about it from one of my friends.

I love to bake. Do the break rooms or public schools usually have a oven? The Dan Hana thing is a little to prepackaged for my taste. Part of the fun of baking is doing it together. Sharing the mixing and getting a little messy. Maybe they will just let you come with your own cake mix and use their facilities. The picking out the cake at a store...the collaboration of "do you want to make a strawberry cake?" Or "Banana cinnamon filler" "Marzipon" it's fun. Or Cookies? All of which can be shared with your kids too. It shows care and thoughtfulness. If it is not common to the Korean Culture, a gift of foreign flavor to your kids, co-teachers, and administrators. Very Happy Very Happy
