I've talked to a few people who teach at kindergarten/elementary hagwons in Seoul, and some have said that they work from 11 AM to 6 PM.

The hours on current job postings seem to be 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Are the people who have 11 AM to 6 PM positions in Seoul lucky? Will I be waiting a long time for an 11 AM to 6 PM position to open up?

11 to 6 or 12 to 5 are usually afterschool programs. WinEducation, Hanmi and a couple of other companies hire and run them. The vacation is not bad either.

I just wrote in your other thread. I don't know the specifics, and my friend hasn't worked for Hanmi in a couple of months, so maybe it has changed, but she got more than ten days holiday. Counting national holidays and school holidays, but she didn't get paid on the school holidays.

My other friend who works for Wineducation got ten days in the winter and ten days in the summer. Which means two full weeks in winter and two full weeks in summer.

I have never worked for either of them, this is just what i saw of my friends in the past year.
