| I just tried to log on to Mediafire's website for the 5th grade lesson plan ideas and it is not working. The 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade parts are still working fine. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks |

It's true...and there's nowt we can do about it unfortunately.
A few months ago someone hacked the site and inserted pornographic images into some ppts and changed the password on [email protected]. This person was a teacher at a public school in Gyeonggi-do and was subsequently dismissed (they had altered the ppts at SCHOOL!!). At that time, we changed the passwords for a few days whilst the editing was investigated. Passwords were changed on a Friday, and then changed back on the Monday...except for gepikteachers7 which was never recovered.
This latest piece of stupidity is unfortunate...and at this stage gepikteachers3 and gepikteachers5 are locked. The teacher who originally created the site has long since left Korea...and there's very little chance that he may be able to access the site and perform a password recovery via email. I think...it's fair to say...that this time we're stuffed.
It's sad that we created something simple and user friendly so that we could share ideas...and instead of everyone being professional and adult...we get this sort of situation. We are supposed to be teachers for goodness sakes! |

That's TERRIBLE! Does anyone know the original teacher?
Anyway - I think that anyone who downloaded stuff in the past should re-upload the files that they saved to the new gepikteacher5 (no "S") login.

I just logged out of gepikteachers4 to log into gepkiteachers3 and i thought it was weird cuz it said you have signed in as "gepikteachers4@ny." some other shit and then couldn't log into gepikteachers3.
Whoever did that really sux. I only have two teaching days left, so it doesn't effect me but I hope people will upload whatever files they have saved. I will def upload what I have before I leave. |

I think I know the materials you are talking about (and the person's whose materials they were).
I am pretty sure I have them on a hard drive somewhere and will have to dig. You also might get them on their esnips site that is probably still functional.
You are welcome to load them into the EFL Classroom 2.0 resources (just click resources and create a category) or in the Gepik group on EFL Classroom 2.0. They will always be safe, in the group, only members can access.
