Not under any regulations as far as I know aside from the 150 USD import limit (more than that causes taxes/tariffs). There are vitamin stores, here, too.

I suggest reading the ingredients VERY carefully. I worked with this bodybuilder guy who has been sitting in Korean prison in Suwon now for 7 months for importing some supplements from like the most popular, legit, US bodybuilding site. bodybuilding.com I think. He ordered protein and stuff like that regularly, then ended up having the Korean equivilant of the DEA show up and take him away. Turns out it was a top-selling fat-burner, but one of the ingredients was some exotic root that's banned in Korea (and only in Korea). Lipox6x or something like that. So make sure you know what the ingredients are, and cross-check them with whatever list the Koreans use for banned "drugs."

There is a great vitamin shop at Homeplus in Jamsil called "Vitamin House".

They have always been cheap, however their vitamins are high quality. They also give you gifts as service when you purchase something - and always had all the vitamins I have asked for (lecithin, niacin, etc).

All of their vitamins are made by GNC (General Nutrition Corp, USA).

So - really there is no need to order from overseas - just purchase American made vitamins in Korea from the GNC store closest to you.

Does anyone know where I can find a list of the banned drugs in Korea? (I've checked google) I want to bring a fat burner over, but want to cross check the ingredients to make sure. I'll put the ingredients below if anyone knows:

I'm resurrecting this post - given repeated references to iherb.com here, I checked it out and started putting in an order. There was a note at the bottom saying that as of a year ago, certain supplements are not allowed into the country. Anyone know where I can find that list? I'd like to order some probiotics and digestive enzymes...has anyone had customs issues with those?

Does anyone know if vegan/vegetarian vitamins are sold at any of those stores mentioned (homeplus, etc.)??? That is really the only reason I would import them. What about childrens vitamins?

and maybe this is a stupid question, but, are the vitamins listed in English?

I have yet to encounter vitamins or supplements at a Homeplus, Emart etc. where the ingredients are listed in English, which is why I order mine from iherb.
