I have been to this salon for manicures and pedicures, but I have never had my hair cut there. I am desperate for a haircut and I am thinking about trying it tomorrow. For people who have tried it, did you have a good experience there? My hair is layered and naturally wavy so I am a little nervous about having it cut.

Girlfriend went there once (she has somewhat curly hair), and she will not go back.

She prefers going to an Aveda salon. Aveda is more expensive but they do a better job with her hair.

Here are a couple of threads that may help:

I tried to go there one Saturday when I was a newbie some 10 months ago thinking I was going to get someone younger speaking some English, but was turned away at the door by an unfriendly adjumma who spoke no English. You need an appointment on a weekday to get what you go to Green Turtle for. Come to find, I did awesomely fine by finding a young stylish long haired Korean man in my town just a short walk up the street from where I live. If you need to find a hair cutter, just simply walk your local city center and eyeshop through the shop windows for someone who isn't old or that looks comfortably OK to you. They probably don't speak any English, but the younger cool looking barbers do good work for rock bottom price on a walk-in basis.

My wife and the rest of the foreign girls from my office go there. I've heard no complaints from any of them. My wife talks about how nice the guy is and how much extra time they spend washing and styling the hair.
