| When I'm with my girlfriends it usually involves one of the following: Shopping, eating, or drinking and dancing. |

The answer to this question appears in "The Pool Guy" episode of Seinfeld.
| Quote: |
JERRY: What else did you two do?
ELAINE: Oh, I don't know, you know, girlie stuff.
JERRY: Ah, so, ah, flower shows and, shopping for pretty bows, and then
back to her place, strip down to bra and panties for a tickle fight?
(Elaine stands there for a good 6 seconds with arms crossed, blank
expression, just looking at Jerry)
ELAINE: That's really what you think girls do, isn't it?
JERRY: Yes, I do. |

It boils down to what your basic interests are when you control the agenda of the conversation.
Some nice topics!!!!
Kpop or Hallyu stars
Using your strengths to your advantage and overcoming disadvantages as females in the workplace/graduate school/leadership roles
Fashions that attract or make sense
How to attract and marry a rich/intelligent/famous or muscular guy or girl
Shopping for value and quality
Just read cosmopolitan magazine or elle for more ideas then be the moderator. Avoid the hand-to-hand combat heated discussions^^
Let the talks begin!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

This ^. My lady friends and I just liked to get together and chat. Sometimes we'd listen to records or knit or something. Reading and discussing cosmetic reviews and then shopping for them was also super fun.
If you are looking for women to paint a mural with you or write poetry or what have you, you should search via a specific interest group rather than gender. I mean, you could run into someone who shares your passion, but I think most folks can't be arsed. |

We make out.
Also, at some point we usually talk about our skincare regimen and menstrual cycles. |

There's a women's book club in Seoul and the conversation begins with a book and goes from there. Recently, we read a book about a woman who survived an attempt to burn her alive and when we started talking about religion it got so heated that one woman left. It sorta depends who shows up and how good the book was as to how well things stay on topic.
Also, there is a ladies clothing swap today. The conversation at the last one varied among many topics and I wouldn't say that there's a lot of Gossip. This is only the second swap so I imagine that people will be getting to know one another and talking about their lives and the people who already know each other will catch up a little. Gossip happens when circles are a little tighter, so you only find that when people constantly hang out in the same places. Most teachers don't have time for that.
Now, about those pillowfights and pajamas optional type slumber parties...dream on fellas! |

yeah, I saw your post Illysook, swapping clothes seem to be fun (maybe you could build a webpage and allow people to upload their photos first, my two cents) but I live in Busan...good luck with it! |

if you also like them, your gf is lucky, I dated a guy who love all the girly things, he had more skin care producs so sometimes I would go to his place to get a service in a salon, that felt like I was dating my best girl friend.
But it was wonderful~! |

Yes, this is true. Don't forget that we also sit around in our underwear, and that there will always be Turkish oil wrestling. In fact, now that I think about it, I've never hung out with my girlfriends without oil wrestling in our underwear. |

We talk about work, food, books, family, future plans, and how our week has been going. Of course sometimes we also stray into the areas of skin care, dating, and pets. (Ok, always pets. Sorry girlfriends I just can't help myself.)
Oh yeah, we also share stories about horrible old men harrassing us on the street. Men tend to be totally unsympathetic and act like some stinky fat guy putting his hands on you is a compliment or something, so it's nice to talk to someone who gets it.
Serious posting is serious. |

For many reasons, I have never hung out with a group of girls regularly, and most of my good friends are guys.
Girls love me ( thats what I know ) so if I want to have my own group it would be easy, but i wonder what girls usually do when they go out, or more specifically, if they hang out regularly.
I dont like drinking or sitting together gossiping. I want a group we do fun things together and stay productive and creative.
If you are with a group of good girl friends, what do you do? How often do you meet and any good advice ? (for girls between 25-35). |
I'm a male.
But coffee shops throughout Korea are absolutely filled with young women everywhere, in groups, talking amongst themselves.
I've often thought it would be interesting if you could get half of the single guys out of the bars and into the coffee shops, and half of the single girls out of the coffee shops and into the bars...what would happen?
Ah, maybe a bad idea. I'm thinking global population would escalate even more drastically. |

wow, would sesame oil be substitutable?
Actually one thing I am always cautious about (especially when I hang out with my western girl friends) is: am I acting too intimate to them, would they think I am gay and feel uncomfortable, can I touch their shoulders or hands or other parts of body? Girls holding hands in Asia is common even when they only meet for the first time.
Last night when I met my girl friends in the bar, one of them was talking about " are guys necessary in the world" (with her boyfriend sitting 3 feet away from her, although he couldnt hear anything) , I just laughed...
One reason to hang out ONLY with girls is: we are more frank, relaxed and independent from men's influence. ( girls are always pretentious or distorted to some extend in front of men ) |

I'm boring - my girlfriends and I just sit around and chat in cafes. And we shop and visit places in Seoul.
Where does this women's book club meet? |
