Ugh. WTF?! They didn't even advertise except for their own shows on it. So thankful I still have my sling box! Won't be able to watch at work though... |

His stuff is also up on watch.thecomedynetwork.ca (along with a ton of other wicked shows)...
Maybe that's not blocked in Korea...give it a shot and let me know if it works |

Relax, there are programs you can download to circumvent these kinds of blocks. |

I don't download anything and have been watching the Colbert Report and The Daily Show online four times a week for years. I just google the name of the show, click the first hit, scroll down to full episode box, click it and watch. Has this process stopped? This week there were no new shows because it's one of the occasional off weeks. I will post here if I have any problems this tuesday night with monday night's show. |

hotspotshield may be good for other things (read PR0N), but it wayyyy too slow with colbert or hulu, at least with my HCN subscription. i can't get through minute 1 without it stuttering.
effemel.
i may have to reconsider my renewal.... |

Does this really work?
I'd read several months ago that software designed to get around the HULU "not in your region" error message was impossible to circumvent.
Anyone actually using it to watch HULU TV? |

Welcome to the rest of the world. I've found that most American TV sites don't show outside of America. |

I watched Colbert/Daily Show last Friday... has it really changed since then?
I think it's possible that they had just conveniently forgot about viewers in Asia and finally have decided to put the plug in it.
When I was in Canada, they made you watch Colbert/Daily Show on the Canadian website which didn't stream the full episode but rather played four large clips from the episode and forced you to watch it in a 320x240 box without the possibility of making if full screen.
ALSO, HotSpotSheild won't work with it for two reasons:
1) it's too slow and
2) the flash video player only lets you buffer 8 seconds of video at a time so you won't be able to buffer the whole episode.
On the bright side, there will probably be a lot more torrents/megavideo links for it now... |
