So I'd love to be able to fire up some of the games they've got loaded on the PC-Bangs here, problem being that I have no idea what button does what on the main menu. I managed to find my way to the 'find server' area on CoD4 but nothing appears in the list initially and my fumbling attempts at trying to find the 'refresh' button prove ineffective.

Can anyone give me some basic vocab so that I can read the most important icons on these games? Better yet, a way to change the language settings.

I'm in the same boat. Every game icon I click either takes me to a website or a log in of some sort.

Do you need to have your own personal battle.net account to play starcaft for example?

Yeah I'm pretty sure you need a battle.net account for SC2, unless the PCbangs have generic ones you can sign in with? Thinking about it that could be my problem with CoD4 too.

a few years back when we still used to go to PC Bangs, there was one in Gangnam I went to where the owner was kinda friendly and had okay English skills and was helpful enough to show my friend and I the basics.

so your best bet is to ask the dude at the counter or anyone else who doesn't look too freaky. they'll probably want to play with you anyway, so it's a win win
