Justin Bieber wades into this debate...

Although he isn't yet old enough to vote, Bieber also weighed in on politics.
"I'm not sure about the parties," Bieber told Rolling Stone. "But whatever they have in Korea, that's bad."

Bieber's team should drill into his head before every interview "no political statements, no political statements".
Though he did a pretty good Obama impression. |

Here's another news article: 44.7% of South Koreans would vote for the opposition party. over the ruling party which has a 36.3% support.

It doesn't matter when both left and right wing politicians are equally xenophobic. The once-dead Roh Mu-hyeon is coming back alive. |

28.9% say foreigner or not doesn't matter

Korea is changing it seems.
When I first got here, the figure were 80% would never accept a foriegner marrying thier children.
The fact it can be now seen as 70% who will never accept mixed marriages is a good sign that the country is becoming better or is that 70% who would accept a marriage? |

I think it's 70% would not accept a mixed marriage. I also suspect that 28.9% is okay with mixed marriages as long as it doesn't involve their sons or daughters. |

You could be right.
Though its easier to make statements like "I will accept x" if you never feel it will occur.
Even the most so called liberal people can get thier panties in a bunch over certain issues. |

| At the same time, those that say no would think twice if their son or daughter was marrying someone rich and famous, even though they say they would still disapprove. Yachting in the Caribbean can change that. |
