The Japanese take on African-American culture is quite interestingly pastiched in this video. It's from 2000 so it might have been posted before, but I don't recall seeing it here.
Oh, and if this was made in Korea there would have have been a 1093 page Dave's thread about how racist Koreans are =) It's that good:

except they are making fun of the japanese too. they are decidedly unhip as they dance around.

Comments on the video are actually saying this is actually an american show? A pilot for American series that parodies Japanese T.V shows?
EDIT: That being said, it's pretty funny in an totally awkward way. XD |

Apparently it was filmed in LA with American actors, but aired in Japan (see closing credits).

People in Tokyo generally way more open-minded. This skit in itself doesn't necessarily reflect it, but Tokyoites are also infinitely more sophisticated, 'tho they can also be a bit colder (can't have it all, can you?). |
