People just won't sit near me here, I just don't know what it is, the long hair, tats or the crucifix burnt into my forehead?

Gonna have to jump on the "that crappy, boring movie is only liked by frat boys who listen to Dave Matthews and wouldn't know quality cinema if it meant saving their life and therefore I think it's terrible" train.

And I'm not scary at all. Admired and envied is closer.

at my last school, my boss told me i couldn't shave my head because it was too scary.

one of my neighbors saw me and (i assume it's because i have a lot of tattoos) told my landlord she thought i was gangster.

koreans scare easily.

Woah, I would have never guessed that Glen Benton came to Korea.

scary or scared? Well, either way, it seems to be more 'foreign' on both ends adn enough to scare any woman.

It was not a "Chinese" as one would have expected though..

I don't think I'm scary but when I was Geoje people always assumed I was an engineer. Where I live now it's more likely that they'll assume I'm Russian. Or should I say those that have approached me ask me if I'm Russian.

That saying doesn't have the same meaning for males, right?.... Smile

So I don't really think I've got the western teacher look, thank god.

My students don't think I'm scary but I have never really been hassled by drunken Koreans either. So i'm not to sure how Koreans perceive me, if needed though I can pull of the killer stare.

I have tattoos on my forearm which I'm sure ruffles some peoples feathers, especially because I'm a female... Razz But seats beside me are never empty, people smile at me and kids wave. So I guess I'm not that scary.

When I let my hair grow normal length like it is now, wear a suit & tie and have my glasses on, I'm not really so scary. I guess I'm six foot tall which is kinda big here.
Just after I'ev had my head shaved though, in my 'casual' clothes? Yeah, no one would sit anywhere near me on the subway.

It's actually one of the things I really enjoy about being here. Not that I scare people, but the look of mixed fear and confusion when I lean over and help an old lady with her bags rather than stab her etc.

How scary am I? Not scary enough, apparently. I'm constantly getting pushed around by 4.5 foot tall grandmas who urgently need to board the subway train before I have a chance to disembark.
