After much ado, I just got my plane ticket. I'm arriving in Jeju on the morning of the 25th. Problem is, I have a 14-hour (!) layover in Seoul, wherein the only thing I'll really need to do is make my way from Incheon over to Gimpo.

Any ideas of things I can do to kill time? I was excited about wandering around all night, until I remembered I'll be bogged down with luggage. I also don't really want to spend 14 hours sitting in an airport.

Perhaps you don't want to spend 14 hours in the airport, but it's a good place to kill half a dozen or more.

There is free wifi throughout the aiport, something most places don't have. It's fast too. There are also loads of ubber nice mini lounges all over the place. They're far enough apart and the airport is big enough it's quite easy to find a couple lazyboys off in a corner somewhere, plug in your computer, and watch a movie or take a snooze.

Getting to Gimpo from ICN is not problem. Will take you less than 30 mins and there's a brand new subway that runs that route. However, once at Gimpo there is absolutely nothing to do. It's a tiny little aiport that barely has seats.

Sadly, there's nothing much in the way of entertainment between the two. Gimpo is on the upper West edge of the city, not near anything to do. Perhaps a movie theater or DVD room, but that's really it actually. If you're gong to be loaded down with luggage, I suggest just hanging out in ICN.

Layovers suck, but they are a part of life.

Incheon has a luggage storage facility as well, about 8k for up to 24 hours. You can google that, it's the first hit. Tsk tsk.

I second the jimjilbang/sauna suggestion. I did an overnight at Incheon recently and stayed at the sauna. It is called "On Air" and it is a great place to spend a few hours or the whole night.

What day and time do you land, and when do you take off? If the timing is right, you could store your luggage, catch an express train to Seoul Station (45 min) have a look around the city, and catch a train back.
