my friend and his gf went to aus. for the working holiday visa thing. they got screwed over by another couple they were living with. that couple owed them deposit money and when my friend came to pick it up, the couple left the house, BUT they left their parking tickets in the mailbox.
so, my friend needs someone to call them and pretend they are from the DMV asking about their address change so that they can send the tickets to the proper address..... can anyone do this?? i can't, i've got an american accent. |

Your first mistake would be to mention "dmv". Funny. Anyway, tickets are charged to the license number on the car and the associated licensee, not the mailing address. It's not like you can park a house/apartment in an inappropriate place. They can just throw them away. End of story. If it was your friend's car that was illegally parked, then they are responsible for the fines. |

Right, Aussies routinely get addresses and license plate numbers confused. So many numbers and letters. It's all so overwhelming. Geez, we invented knifey-spoon. A little respect. |

gotcha. I'm saying that if it wasn't their car parked illegally, then they have no worries. BTW, long time, no see |
