Has anyone worked for this company before? I hear they have a great reputation in Seoul as being one of the leaders for Hagwons.... Does anyone have ANY information about them?

Here's a peek at their curriculum: http://www.choisun.co.kr/edusys/book.asp

Personally, I've never heard of DYB (Do Your Best) until I queried it on a Korean search engine.

OP, just be wary that almost every hagwon will tell you they're the 'best' or 'leader' in something or other; most of it is self-promoting tripe. I wouldn't trust their opinion or that of a recruiter unless you really know the person (or people) offering the information as being credible.

A friend of mine worked at a DYB in Seoul for almost a year back in 2007. He made good money and they gave him a nice apartment in Daechi-dong, but they made him work for it. Six days a week, with Sunday being his only full day off. They also laid off a bunch of teachers during his time there, apparently because they 'overhired'. Apart from that, I never heard any complaints from him.

Do your homework before you sign on. But that goes without saying.

Do your best for less because if you don't sacrifice yourself, you're not a good teacher and a you are a bad person.
