I like Korea for now, if I move on, it'll be tot he Middle East. The low end of salaries are maybe 2600 in Oman, which I can't go to. BUt in Saudi and the UAE, it'd be about $3000 a month, tax free, free housing with ultitlies and flights for me and my family.

I figure even if food's expensive, I'll be able to save 25K a year.

It's a revolution against the government. AFAIK no white people have been harmed. In fact, people being scared of going might mean even better conditions than before these events!

True, but new governments in those countries could mean conditions will end up being a lot worse

ANd I'm sure TEFL teachers are leaving left and right, leaving the pick of the jobs for those who want them.

its not all bad, where I live theres 2 universities and they are desperate to fill 30/50 positions before march - Good luck to them! Thats where im headed next... Smile

So, how much do they pay teachers in Libya? Must be pretty high now Laughing

You could teach Gaddafi and his son. I heard they are making traveling arrangements.
