Just thought some dudes would like to know that there is a Zara outlet store in Myeongdong. If you start at exit 5, and start walking toward the main walkway, you take a left at Dunkin Donuts and it's there.

I only mention this because men's clothing in Korea is so frickin' expensive. Thought you'd like to purchase some things before spring.

How do you know it's an outlet? Does it say zara outlet?

What are you smoking? Clothes for MEN in Korea are really expensive. If you go to the "cheap" places, you're basically paying for the fact that they will fall apart and look fairly tacky.

There is a Zara outlet near Ehwa University and in Dongdaemun. But keep in mind that the clothes are very outdated. I saw a dress that I bought 4 years ago.

I wasn't too impressed with the selection they had at their COEX store a few weeks back. Other stores worth checking out are Uniqlo, Giordano, H&M and the Gap, although the latter is a bit pricey to be fair.

Zara in Korea charges high prices for what is supposed to be mid-priced clothing. I've seen a few sales there and I hear they've cut prices, but I am mostly not impressed.

I get my designer clobber imported from back home, and it's still cheaper than here, where you pay top prices for poor quality!!

Uniqlo and Giordano are 2 awesome stores, very good quality, not cheap but they are good. Highly recommended.

There's also a ZARA outlet in Ilsan. It's in Deogi-dong, near "Rodeo Street" or whatever they call that shopping district past Daehwa. It's kind of to the side of all the other stores.

I just picked up a very nice sport coat for 50,000. The size selection is pretty broad and most Western men could probably find a good fit. The prices are very good for the quality.

Unless, of course, you're above a 36 waist/xl in tops. I generally like Zara for reasonably priced, well made clothes for day-to-day wear. I would like to see more of a selection at the ones in Gangnam and COEX. I went to both this past weekend and saw one pair of trousers that I liked in the Zara at COEX.

I saw larger than this.
