Hi!
Ive been in Korea for three years and I need a change of scenery. However, I have USD $11,500 in student loans. While I am paying more than the minimum amount (bet USD $150-$400/month), which country would be better to pay off my loan faster? |

| From all accounts, one cannot save significant money in Thailand as an ESL teacher. There's just too many people who want to go and work there. |

| Depends where you live and what job you can get. I love Thailand and work there just to break even, but I'm sure you could find a job that was equivalent in earning potential as Korea. I spend more in Korea, too. |

| Stay in Korea. Pay off your student loans in a year. Bank a bit more, and then do Thailand if you're still into it. |

| Thailand pays on average $900 U.S. a month, which doesn't include housing, airfare, etc. So like others have said, you'll save a lot more in Korea. |

| You might try Japan or Taiwan if you want a change of scenery and to save up. |
