The cpu, ram and video card are good; but far from high end.

CPU:
Core i7-965, -975 Extreme, -980X Extreme

Video card:
Discrete: GTX 580/ HD 5970

HD 4850 X2, HD 5870, HD 6950
Discrete: GTX 470, GTX 560 Ti HD 5850, 6870
Discrete: 9800 GX2, GTX 285, GTX 460 1GB, GTX 465 HD 6850

And I can't remember the last time I saw a "High end" system use an Asrock motherboard. Don't get me wrong Asrock do make decent motherboards but no no no not "High end".
Power supply is an important part and going with a cheap one like the one listed is welcoming headaches later down the road.


As for the LCD those are discontinued and only 25.5in

High end does't just mean the best one available. All components are in the upper bracket in performance. You are arguing over semantics. It has played every game I have tried at max settings. The cpu at almost 4ghz chews up everything and so does the graphics card.

The PSU is not a cheap generic PSU. Please read reviews before posting crap. It's got a very good reputation here for being solid and reliable and a bargain at it's price. Just because it's not a well known brand on new egg doesn't mean it's not good. It has more solid and stable lines then my old enermax psu. But I guess you would know that as you have read the reviews? I guess you just looked at the original price and assumed...

As for the motherboard. It works flawlessly. It can overclock the chip to over 4ghz stable but I chose to run it at 3.8ghz on stock volts. What added features do you want that this doesn't have? Why pay more for a P55 board that does the exact same thing (at double the price).

I even included all the cheapest prices available for everything to avoid trolls like you. If you are not interested, get out of the thread and stop being ignorant.

Funnily enough the computer fits the definition of high end you just gave. It's not mid range and it's not budget. End of.

The Asrock board will be out of date before it dies on you. Not only that but it clocks just as well as the equivalent Gigabyte/Asus boards. Keep paying extra for that brand name.

The ram is 1600 and therefore runs at a higher latency. Unless you want to fork over a lot more this is about as good as it gets. Maybe I should go back to some nice DDR1 800 for some nice low latency.

Angry birds? Troll much? It runs all the games I have played on it at max settings (FFXIV, Dragon Age, Mass effect, COD).

I have included current links to every single component at it's cheapest price. How is that not informing people. I am hardly trying to con people here.

This is a great system at a very reasonable price, especially for someone who doesn't want to go through the hassle of speccing up and building their own PC. You have had your say so now please stop cluttering my thread with more trollage.
