|
|
Smog filled days of yellow dust are just around the corner. They usually hit as early as mid-February through April here on the peninsula.
No prizes but you get the notariaty and fame if you come the closest.
All you have to do is guess the date of the first future appearance of yellow dust in this country.
As we all know, in a pool you cannot choose someone elses date. Only pick remaining dates.
I'll start and take Feb. 27. |

Didn't we already have some on Monday? Or was that just local smog that wasn't from China? It was foggy and the air quality readings from http://www.airkorea.or.kr/airkorea/eng/realtime/main.jsp were pretty bad most of the day in Seoul.
I'll play anyway and pick Feb. 24. |

Nope, yellow dust hasn't broken yet I'll take March 7th. I have a feeling we are in for a very HEAVY yellow dust season this year. |

I'll do things Price is Right Style- March 18th Bob.
I kinda like the Yellow Dust at night. It gives the city a noir-ish kinda look. |

Dude- its already here
my nose is sensitive to the 'smell' of Yellow Dust. Also, being from the wet, wild NE, my body can perceive that 'fog' isn't pure water vapor.
Feb 17th was my first awareness that it hit. Light now, but its here already. |

The charts say that it's unhealthy today from Incheon to Seoul.
If so, then Caffeinated wins.
Luckily I'm here down South and am not exposed at the moment.
I'll check the TV news today for proof unless anyone can take a pic or has a news article to confirm. |

It seems pretty much the same all over Korea. There are some yellow spots in Gyeongi but it's the same in Busan and Daegu. Mainly it's "moderate" level everywhere. There is a red spot in Gumi though. |
