What can you guys tell me about the Avalon branch in Yongin City? Does anyone know someone who teaches there or has taught there before?

Also: What is Yongin like (as far as living goes) and how far away is it from Seoul?

Thanks!

I have a friend that lives in Yongin. It's an hour from Seoul via bus.

Does your friend like living in Yongin? How late/early does the bus run?

I work at an Avalon branch right now, but it's a franchise, so it's bound to be different. I can say with certainty, however, that you'll have the same curriculum, which is VERY easy to teach. As you get more comfortable with the structure of the books, your prep time will shrink to nearly nothing.

I guess the Avalon branch in Yongin that I interviewed for is in close proximity to Kangnam University, with only five other foreign teachers at that location.

Any idea what that location is like?

Get in touch with some of the current and former teachers there. They might answers any questions that you have. Good luck.
