Are you the same person that was attacked with a mysterious electric charges through your apartment wall by your school management?

With the exception of my wedding band, I have never been a jewelry or accessory guy. Other than a wrist watch, that is. I just don't feel complete with out it.

The thing is, checking time when in a conversation or a meeting can be considered rude. I remember Papa George Bush getting a lot of grief for doing it when he was in the middle of a debate with Clinton and Perot. The trick is to slip the face to the inside of your wrist - that way you can look down surreptitiously occasionally. You can't really whip out the phone the same way, especially in a meeting.

I've had to wear a watch for work in my previous career and hated it. I hate the feeling of a watch on my wrist. Now I just strap it to my backpack and use it that way. My mp3 has a clock on it and so does my laptop computer.

I don't like wearing rings either. No watches or any kind of jewelry for me.

I only take off my watch to shower.I feel lost without my watch on and I actually have a tan line on my wrist from wearing a watch everywhere I go.

I got a new Timex Indiglo for Christmas. My last watch was an old school indiglo which lasted for 12 years. It felt a bit like shooting a beloved, sick dog when I had to retire that one.

I still keep it in my old watch drawer of fame.

I wear one whenever I leave the house but as soon as I get home it goes on the table with my keys and wallet.

What if you cover your wrist with tinfoil before putting on the watch?

I wear at least a watch, a gold chain and a gold ring whenever I go out. I need to look sharp.

one of my big ongoing regrets is my complete uselessness at remembering to replace my watch batteries.

it was a birthday rpesent maybe 5 or 6 years ago, wore it everyday. then the about 2 years ago the battery died.

it was sat on a shelf for ages, then i thought "ill bring it to korea, ill need it there" so i did. i still havent got round to replcaing the battery.

I guess its because I dont need a watch - my phone, wall clocks, and so on... its a luxury. and watch shops arent in my daily routine, so it needs special trip to spend a few quid on a luxury. im lazy, so that aint going to happen soon.

That said, I really wish i had my watch. I love wearing one, makes you feel professional and classy Cool
