IMPROV COMEDY AND ROCK N ROLL, TOGETHER AT LAST.
Seoul City Improv, Seoul�s improvisational performance group will be joining forces with rock band, the Total @ssholes for a night of unprecedented levels of awesomeness. The show takes place on Saturday, February 26th at Roofers Rooftop Bar in Itaewon. SCI will start the event at 8 p.m. with an improv show combining both short-form improv a la "Whose Line is it Anyway" and long-form improv, which is storytelling through the spontaneous creation of scenes. The @ssholes will then take the stage around 10:30 and proceed to rock out long into the night.
The SCI show will have partial Korean translation!
Admission to the event is ₩10,000, which includes a drink. All proceeds go towards supporting SCI, which uses the funds to help pay for rehearsal spaces, travel subsidies for actors to perform abroad (and in 2011, the troupe plans to travel to Hong Kong, Beijing and Canada to do improv), future projects, etc. We thank everyone for helping support improvised theatre in Seoul, and we are looking forward to sharing the stage with some Total @ssholes!
DIRECTIONS TO ROOFERS:
Come out Itaewon station exit #3 and walk straight. You will see Dunkin' Donuts on your right. After Dunkin' Donuts turn right up the hill. Walk about 60 meters and ROOFERS is on your right on the 3rd floor.
