|
|
Some land of the free we have now huh? Supposedly taking the bus, train or driving would avoid the rape-scans and groping apperently not.
http://news.travel.aol.com/2011/02/28/why-did-tsa-pat-down-kids-adults-getting-off-train/
The cliff notes are that after finishing their trip the TSA starting corralling all the passengers and demanding that they submit to an invasive pat down before continuing on their journey. I encourage whoever reads this to post this on any forum they may be a member of so this won't get quietly forgotten. The TSA has got to go! |

While my primary concern is civil liberties, I wouldn't be surprised if the TSA is now attracting a subset of deviants, who may not yet have a criminal record. |

Would they let you though with a speedo and a net tank-top after you kicked off a pair of Crocs? I ask because I'm not about to do that but I'm hoping someone will give it a try. |

I don't like this either, but I do like the anti-discrimination. No exceptions. Once you give one group (eg: old women) exemption from being searched, then the next group gets exempt as well. Then it ends up only men ever get searched. Men are criminalized.
I faced less security than this boarding an international flight at Manila Airport. |

Nude flights leaving from all-nude airports is the answer.
Bend over and spread your cheeks and cough. Take your bag of peanuts and order a drink (or ten).
Mile-High Club, anyone? |

They should change their name from TSA to T'n'A. |

Exactly, but that doesn't seem to bother anybody, unfortunately. |

Yeah because men take it lying down. I don't. When I am being targeted, I speak up and say it is BS.

hard to talk when you have somewhere to go.
I remember being scanned & 'frisked' when leaving the Midwest- I had a flight back to ICN the following day. Why would you speak up when you don't want to miss your flight- or your other plans? Sometimes people fight and win, but the majority take it because "there might be a terrorist".
The only terrorists I know of are Blackwater, Mossad, CIA, & NSA. |
