my last day of work is april 29.
my visa expires may 10.
my ARC expires may 24.

i will definitely be leaving the country in may - either to thailand or home to the USA for a few weeks.

i have already sent off for my FBI background check and it was received last week. so it might not be ready until late may if it takes as long as some say it will.

what are my options if i want to return to korea at the end of may after my vacation and don't have a job/new visa...
can i return on just a tourist visa?
can i ask my school to extend my visa for 30 days even though i won't be working there?

and i am also confused about transferring my visa or getting a new one...
if i don't start a new job right away can i still transfer my visa?
if i get a new visa do i have to get all the same documents again?

i am sooooooo confused, any help would be appreciated...
