Yup, e-cig users I am reffering to.

Got my joye / ovale ego-t set up in december.

Have heard there is a bar in haebangchan that has a selection of fsusa juices you can buy there - anyone know it?

I'm not completly off the cigs, but have cut down about 40% I guess which is a 'win' as Charlie Sheen would say - in my books.

I'm not sure but I've heard there is a bit of a vaping community at Maloney's Pub in Noksapieng, near Habangcheon..not sure if same place your talking about. There is suppose to be patron (J.M.) there at night that sells liquid, but I'm not sure how much it costs. Nor am I sure how legal it is for him to sell it. But its got to be a better price then the Jaunty liquid at 37,000 per 20ml. I just buy my liquid in the Philippines, about 10,000w (400p) for 30ml when I go on vacation twice a year.

Hi Wad.

Yeah we were talking about the same place.

I was planning to go there this weekend but ended up not having the time.

The janty liquids are excellent for the price though.

Anyhow, I was wanting to go there to try and help myself 'get into' vaping more. Have been doing it since dec 21st but tbh once the initial novelty wore off - it just isn't working for me.

Liquid is liquid: PG/VG, Nicotine extract, and flavor. Can't see any real difference between the Janty and any other liquids I've bought. The Janty shop in Yongsan is pretty limited too, about a dozen different flavors. This compared to the Philippines where I can buy about 40-50 different flavors at a 1/5th of the cost.

Sorry to hear its not working for you. Personally I love it. I cant get a lung full of smoke from an analog like I can with my PV. When I return to the Philippines I will buy the Golden Greek Telescopic Storm with AVS. You cant buy a better piece of equipment, but they are expensive at about $250.00 US I believe.

I actually have been interested in trying these. Is there a good shop to purchase one in Seoul? I'm in eastern outskirts of Seoul.

There are few places but your best bet is either Yongsan Electronics Market or Technomart. The Janty/Ovale Ego-T is probably a good starter kit and goes for about 139,000w. Juice is about 37,000w for 20ml (expensive).

About how long does the typical package of "juice" last? Coming from someone who goes through about 5 ciggies a day on average.

Its different for every person. I was a reasonably heavy smoker at about a 25 cigs a day and more when I drank. Usually I go through about 2-3ml a day minimum. So for me one 20ml bottle lasts about 7-10 days. But again I don't buy my liquid in Korea. However, the way I figure it, what price do you put on your health?

Janty stores an Dekang stores are the best. Janty have a store in Yongsan electronics - I-park.

Liquid most certainly is not liquid. some of the online stores I've bought from are shockingly bad. light, whispy vapor, barely any discernable flavor whatsoever, one provider's juices were so bad I threw out 40ml.

Janty has a decent selection of juices and in my experience the reason they are the basic flavors is that they are the ones that can be done well and so far all of my Janty juices have been far above and beyond any others I have bought, more vapor producing and much tastier by far.

That said, to me, vaping in general just feels like breathing in some flavored mist and is about as good an NRT as sucking on the same flavored boiled sweet. So I have given up on it, it just doesn't work. Even with 18mg of nicotine juices. There is so much more to smoking than just the nicotine.

I'll send you my Jany Ego-T kit (was 158,000) plus around 80ml of liquid (worth over 100,000) for 100k if you want it.

Someone like you and me who only smoke 5 a day (I smoke 4) - will only go through about 5ml a week - if that.

Here is the ego-t kit - http://www.ecigswarehouse.com.au/products/ego-t-starter-kit?pagesize=40

Juices I have are - Capuccino; Tobacco; RY4 (caramel and vanilla tobacco mix;) some menthol. Kit comes with 2 batteries, charger, 2 atomizers, 5 tanks, nice carry box, several carrying pouches, drippers, bottles for spare liquid etc, even a free Janty xl cartomizer...

Fair enough, I've never bought on-line. Like I mentioned previously I always buy in the Philippines. This gives me a chance to sample the flavors and quality in person before I buy. There are some flavors I don't care for, VG also tends to produce more vapor than PG...without the throat hit. Unfortunately the Ego-T has gained a reputation for poor taste. Myself personally, I'd much rather drip onto a 901 atomizer with a drip tip. You can't beat the flavor. But the tanks certainly have their advantages.

In my travels I've always been able to find liquid on par with Janty or Dekang (China) for a 1/5th of the cost of buying in Korea. Buying anything from disreputable on-line vendors is a risk no matter what the product. Having said that, there are many reputable vendors on-line that will sell you excellent quality liquids for a fraction of the price. Check out ECF for a list of these vendors.

Ya that's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Its interesting that you've had such a change of heart. But I certainly understand what you are saying.

I wholeheartedly agree that PVs are not the same as smoking analogs. Nor do they work for everybody. Personally I was able to pack up the cigs by just using the nicotine gum. But for most ex-smokers its the oral sensation that they seem to miss most. Especially when having a drink. Vaping fills that void for me. Guess the bottom line is that you still have to have the will to give up analogs.

Anyways best of luck!
