1. You will have to get a criminal check and see if it comes up. We cannot possibly know the answer to this, although if charges weren't laid, then you are probably okay. If you have a record for drugs, then of course you won't be able to get a job in Korea.
2. In order to get a job here, you will need to gather all your documents and have them ready. The gathering of your documents is up to you and has nothing to do with your employer. (They are in Korea - how would they even have access to your criminal record?)
3. Why oh why would you divulge that information?!!
Good luck with the CRC. |

If I had any eating disorder, I would avoid Korea like the plague. Being skinny is important to people here, and eating disorders are aplenty. Lots and lots of pressure in that regard. Koreans are very forward people and they frequently say "You look like you've lost/gained weight" without a care in the world.
Seriously, I would give that a long, critical look before coming here. |

A pot smoking anorexic? That's a new twist, and probably pretty tough to pull off. Amazing will power.
To answer your questions, you won't know about your records until you file and actually seem them. I'm betting it won't show up, but you never know. As for 'mental disorders', you don't have to declare anything, especially if you're not on any meds that might show up in a screening.
nathanrutledge does give some sound advice, I have to say. You will be constantly confronted with opions about your looks here. If you're not a position to comfortably and confidently cope, think twice before you make a move.
Good luck to you... |
