A little BACKGROUND would be helpful, then people could actually help you rather than assume you are a recreational user. Just saying.

Well it depends on the Hospital and Immigration. And Immigration can be mean bastards who will deny one person for have an extra nipple to letting someone missing half a brain in with a smile.

Really it is...
Drugs
STDs (still some politics to do with AIDS)
TB (X-Ray)
Some blood work (STD and maybe some other diseases)
Psychical - Are you too fat or have some serious condition in which to refuse you. They might test eyes, hearing, balance.

It does depend on the hospital a little - I have heard of some asking for a stool sample.

Careful about lying on your medical form. If you have minor depression -lie, if you re hiding a serious disease do not risk it and come here.

Also sometimes the truth can be accepted, you just have to possibly take the lumps.

The forums are anonymous! Spill the beans!

What about things like diabetes or sleep apnea? Are these tests like the criminal checks where ANYTHING is a no-no?

Ok...basically I'm concerned that I may an STD...HPV which can result in genital warts but I don't think it shows in blood or urine tests anyway? Will get tested before I leave but I don't have much time for getting tests/results/treatment if it turns out I do have anything! Very embarassing and I've never had anything before so I'm hoping it's just not the case!

Go to the doctor if it's urgent.

Ha that would be the most obvious thing to do, but I'm actually away - hence the short time scale for getting tests etc done when I get back so thought I'd better check!

There's no way to get rid of that, so there's nothing you can do.
