I don't drop many compliments, but on the contrary you are the funniest poster on Dave's. That's kinda like winning a Samoan beauty contest, but hey, it's something. |

Nooooo! Don't go! Dave's doesn't have enough man-childs as it is. If you leave, I'm sure we'll miss out on your regaling us with stories of how you burnt yourself while lighting your farts on fire. Or how you got drunk off some expired cough medicine that e-mart threw out. Dave's feeds on such stories. |

Oh, no I get it. You and globaknob still think deadpan 'sarcasm' that actually has no hint that it is a joke whatsoever as you are actually just making blatantly rude statements (and thus are actually making that statement with no implication of anything else) is the height of humour, when really it is the most unsophisitcated, uncreative and juvenile sort.
This is because that is all your puny minds can come up with but yet you have these imaginary perceptions of yourself as some kind of quirky geniuses (whilst all you do is spill banality over this forum, especially gobaknob with his layman's painfuly laboured understanding of physics, philosophy and music which he tries to dress up as intellect, hillarious) so you convince yourselves your jokes are amusing. Hi I'm globaknob, Oooooh, I'm sooooo misunderstooood.... No, you're really not, you're playing out that played out character of the lonely misunderstood sensitive pseudo intellectual which was killed off I believe with Ghostworld at least a decade ago and now everyone else is aware of the fake flimsy mask to hide behind that it is globaknob, so you actually come accross (if you are like this in real life) as pathetic, hammy and kind of funny in the poke a caged monkey with a stick kind of sense. You walk about like a weakly written, poorly acted and scepticemic Hamlet. Grow an imagination would you?
Well, no madoka if you write 'I think you're a bleep' the fact that in your own deluded head you imagine that this is some super sophisitcated and layered joke doesn't make it read anything to anyone else except what it says.
Manboy indeed! And, yes I get it that I'm not supposed to feed the trolls like this and this is what madoka wants. But I kinda believe (like telling Koreans kimchi is not the most amazing food in the world, but it is still ok, enough times) if you keep pushing the truth to delluded people enough times, one day it will break through their denial. and I kind of enjoy insulting guys like these, it's like free target practice and the best part is it's all true and will work as some kind of therapy for them one day.

Haven't got out of bed yet, so obviously haven't spent anything. Had a very nice dream though. |

No, again, even a ten year old gets it. That's the point. You see? Though I know you're not doing a madoka, no offense taken.
Seriously though, in the 1st thread, couldn't they just delete the troll posts and the one where globutron dogded the swear filter and used profanities and then keep the thread? I post on several other sites ranging from e-cigs, mma, film, current affairs etc and this is the only one I've ever come accross where it seems to be 'for trolls, by trolls' and violating the tos is okay. It's almost as if the trolls are modscoks or something.
Maybe the Koreans are right about the standard of foriegners that come here to teach?
There, now I'm one of the guys!

Phew, that must have took some work to write out. .
I tried to be nice, and this is what I get? Cheers.
Although Globaknob is pretty hilarious, I'll use that one. I've heard Gobutron, Gobblecock and a few other cool ones.
I suppose I have to do the obligatory justification. I don't really feel the need to other than the possibility of ending this as a truce.
so...in regards to Science, Philosophy, Music insults:
I don't try to dress it with anything. I just love to learn about it all. They are called passions, things I follow and enjoy sharing with others. I never claim to have a higher knowledge than anyone else in sciences. I do with music because... well I probably do. This isn't a music forum. There's 2 people I can think of who come across as musically inclined. Maybe three but I suspect the third is just all round intelligent.
The only other thing I have to justify is the misunderstood thing. I dunno where you got that from, I'm pretty easy to understand, I don't hide anything, and I don't give any pretense otherwise...
I never was one to go for that personality fashion of the teenage years, where you pose upwards to a camera with hair over your eyes to look cute, insist you have OCD and depression and colourblindness etc based on self-diagnosis on google. Man I hate those guys. I just tell me how I am.
Oh one more. I'm not sure I used any deadpan sarcasm. What I'm saying is; the things I say that come across as sarcasm are actually *not* sarcasm, but can - and are - misconstrued as such, due to the deadpan 'tone' of my typing (lack of punctuation, exclamations, perfunctory and lazy writing style etc) Such as half the things you seem to have taken as insults.
You went off a bit at the end, and seemingly forgot who you were talking to... I also never denied the things you accused me of being. I actively agreed to it, in fact.
... I walk around like a small village? |

Wow, this thread is hilarious. OP needs to chill, if you make a post on a public forum, accept the fact that some people will comment, and some people might say things you don't like. That's kind of what casual forums are for. No need to go off your rocker, it's not that big a deal.
Man won a day huh? I probably come in somewhere around there, but I don't normally drink on weekdays, if I did I'd go over. And that doesn't count my monthly payment for school lunches, although that's pretty cheap. (27k per month) |

Sigh, you're exhausting your range now. No I write stuff on here literally off the top of my noggin, it takes less than a minute usually. Not that I claim any brlilliance for that But then I have to spend minutes editing the typos so the spelling guys don't bumrush me.
And I'm getting bored now. Truce accepted. Though please help make me like you a little more by telling me you do know what I meant by the Hamlet reference.... ha ha. One can never be sure around here with all the masquerading.
And back on topic, how much have you spent today in blighty? I bet at least a tenner already for a paper, a bog roll and a can of coke.
I remember a few months back in Hampshire feeling literally robbed as the cashier demanded 7 quid for a peperami, a can of energy drink, a Times and a chocolate bar. You literally feel these days as though they are laughing at you as you begrudgingly hand over the cash and mope out of the door duped and puzzled as to how it ever cost that much. The thing is buying stuff you didn't really need used to be a kind of fun passtime and never cost an hour's wages, but nowadays it can be a very dangerous vice indeed! |

27k is good. Public School? Mine always charged me around the 50k - 70k mark at the 3 I worked at! Now I get free dinners at my hakwan, so that is going to help me with this man won a day liafestyle a lot. Plus not having to get up until 1.30pm kinda helps too I guess. |

No offense OP, but you cannot write a post detailing personal information and not expect people to comment or respond to it.
It'd be like asking a question and being upset when someone responds with an answer.
That being said, I manage on less than 10k a day on weekdays. Usually oatmeal and a piece of fruit for breakfast, total about 1200, lunch at PS, and keep the cost of dinner around 5k.
Out of curiosity, if you're really trying to watch your budget, why do you eat out every day? |

Anyway, stop drinking, fool.
Alternatively you could go back to the casino and try your luck. |
Naw, I'd say that if those comments don't come accross as rude, sarcastic and insensitive (especialy the latter to a guy obviously upset about losing almost a month's salary) you just have very poor social skills, poor self awareness and a poorly constructed self perception, but hey ho, we all have our faults.
ok obviously this thread dies / gets deleted in 3, 2, 1.... |
I saw the humor in it and if I were you, I would have taken it in stride and asked Globutron how he would budget. I mean, I've managed to save 23 million in a year and a half....should have 40 million by the end of year 2 (selling car for 8 mil) then I will pay jeonse and rake in cash.
5 million? Cut down on the daily chocolate bars. I know, the booze takes the pain away, though 1 bottle of soju only makes me anxious.
It's been 34 years, get the stick out of your backside.

Boredom, too much freetime, tired of the repetative rotation of topics at the moment on other forums I frequent, as well as this one. Mix it up a bit, give the crowd some gory fare to feast on. One is not as unaware as one comes across. Find it interesting to see what one can manage to pull out of those of madoka's, triban's ilk, see how far they will go etc.

I live in a one room. I hate cooking, eating, cleaning up and going to sleep in the same room. Feels like being caged. Use the one room to sleep and watch movies in etc and eat out makes it okay. 5k a day on brunch at the shiktang still keeps me within the man won a day range as I get free, totally free very good dinners at my hakwan. Used to cook a lot last year as had a 5 room apt. Salad days now, though I am actually enjoying the man won a day thing, makes for an interesting project, living a new lifestyle.

I couldn't possibly not eat for that long. I have a high metabolism, and of course being as highly strung as I am, doesn't help! |
