Cilantro, but that's genetic.

I'm really not a fan of samgyeopsal - the only way I can eat it is if it's really, really well cooked, and even then...

HongEo - Stingray

It became a "delicacy" after fishermen realized long ago that, unlike other fish, it never goes bad. It's full of ammonia. Smells like horse piss. Tastes how I imagine horse piss would taste.

I'm actually a very fussy eater, especially when it comes to things that feature heavily in korean food.

I don't eat:
seafood (seaweed's ok - I eat any vegetable products)
egg
mushroom
sour cream/mayonaise

Depending on where I am this can be a great hinderance or be of no concern at all. Places like India or the Middle East are great because I can pretty much order anything on the menu without fear of encountering any of these things. But when I went to Japan last month, finding a place to eat was always a cause of a lot of consternation for me.

Sucks for my gf when we go out 'cause she loves all this korean seafood stuff that I find repulsive. I encourage her always to order seafood dishes for herself, but she likes to be able to share so she doesn't often do that.

Also sucks when unknowing and well-intentioned Korean friends wanna treat me and I find it very awkward to tell them I can't eat such and such food.

But, I have tried seafood before, plenty of things like tuna, crab meat, calamari, just thinking about it now made me have a vomit-reflex, I simply can't stomach that stuff at all.

Steak. Every now and then I love a nice, medium rare steak, but for some reason, I just can't digest it. It has resulted in severe pain and very bad consequences several times.

Venison. I can't stand the way it smells when it cooks.

Vienna sausage. It just looks so gross and I don't want to know what's in it.

Tongue, organ meats, feet, and other odds and ends that I can't stand the thought of consuming.

it hasn't changed since I was five years old: Olives, mushrooms, fish. D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G!

I can't stand raw onions. I love them cooked, though.

The only Korean thing that I wasn't able to get down was bundaegi. I did try, though.

This topic makes me reflect on the little girl I can be when it comes to food and being so god damn picky with certain vegetables.

I have no idea why but my favourite flavour of nearly anything is tomato sauce made from 'real tomatoes' yet if anybody is to cut up an actual real tomato in front of me I turn away like I am about to projectile vomit.

I will spew if even the smallest portion of a real tomato is left in a sandwich but the moment it is stewed into a sauce I love it!

I put it down to I was never trained well as a kid with vegetables which is strange because my parents are both health freaks!
