Here is a link to my blog entry about "Yakko's World." It's about using it for Grade 6 Lesson 1...but it's also handy for other age groups, classes, and occassions. A lot of those countries don't exist anymore, unfortunately. Otherwise it's a great song! |

Yeah...and there are new countries as well...but we talk about that...about how the world changes because we have these 'nations' that aren't real...so can come and go. Because they're Elementary students I don't think they've really thought about that too much before...and the discussion gets quite lively (although mostly in Korean because their English doesn't stretch to matters of geo-political importance). |
