You can get red lentils in some of the shops that cater to Muslims in Itaewon. There are a bunch near the mosque and at least one near the three alley pub, behind the Hamilton.
I've no idea about seitan, I prefer to avoid the faux meat stuff when I can. |

| The store in Itaewon that I get lentils is to the west of the back of the Hamilton hotel. It's kitty-corner from the 3 Alley pub and is called Jasper Corp. I believe. |

There is a 'whole-foods' store in Banpo that sells organic foods, vegetarian food, whole grain products, etc. It's called 'Orga'.
To find it you'll have to go to the Seoul National University of Education subway stop (GyoDae) and go out exit 11 towards the courthouse. There is a big hill to go up. just keep walking for about 10 mins. You'll pass a gas station, then the court house, then another gas station, then "GOld and Wise" bank, then KB bank then a burger kind (all on your left). shortly after you pass the burger kind there will be an intersection with a crosswalk and a traffic light. It intersects with the main road at a 45 degree angle.
Go left here and follow this smaller road. You'll see a big sign on the ground floor that says "ORGA". I think you can see it from the intersection.
They don't have a huge selection but it's the best I've found in Seoul.
Hope this is helpful!

awesome! thanks!
faux meats can be good sometimes. my bf is a carnivore, so sometimes we comprise and eat fake meat. there are some good ones, but i'd rather eat chick peas and lentils etc... |

I was at Orga yesterday and found that they no longer carried any Faux meats. Perhaps they had trouble selling them. They used to have veggie burgers and other vegetarian instant meals but I couldn't find them yesterday.
They change their products every now and then maybe they'll have that stuff again in the future.....not sure. |

Not sure if you know but, Home Plus has bean cuttlets. They say soy bean cuttlet on them in english.
E mart has veggie burgers, and cutlets and other items made from the same brand. They say Kong Kass in Korean writting.
Hope this helps. |

| You could also try restaurants catering to Seventh-Day Adventists. They also have a source to feed their hogwon teachers. |
