Hey,

I need the cable for my Nikon coolpix digital camera that allows me to both transfer pictures and charge my camera (hooks to a converter so it is both a usb and can hook to the wall).

I lost it somewhere in Korea between orientation and moving to my new place. I went to Hi Mart in Daejeon and they told me to go to a Nikon Service center...can't find any info about this on the Nikon site.

I live in Jochiwon (about 20-25 min from Cheonan and Daejeon) and will be in Seoul this weekend. Is there a Nikon service center or store where I can get this?

Thanks so much!

Give these guys a ring.

www.ukbulcamera.co.kr

There is someone there who speaks decent English and might be able to poke you in the right direction. They might even have what you are after.

I got mine on gmarket a few months ago for about 4,000 plus small delivery fee, and was delivered in less than 24 hours. Here is the link. Check the graph below for your model number.

I may be wrong..if this is not the kind of cable you are searching for.

I have a few nikon cameras but never use the cord because I have an SD card reader. If you're having trouble finding the cable, you could get an SD reader (they usually read all types of memory cards).....I think I've seen them for around 15,000 won

Thanks guys.

The sd card reader is a good idea, but I also need the cord for charging, unfortunately.

So, no one has heard of a Nikon Service Store?

Yongsan. Go to the electronics building across the tracks via the overpass. Go down one floor, back in the northwest corner of the building. That's one of the many Nikon Service Centers in Seoul.
