In the aftermath of the recent earthquake in Japan, would there be any difficulty in going to say Fukuoka for a visa run sometime in the near future? Is the Korean consulate there operating normally or have services there been curtailed in the wake of the recent earthquake?

Why not try Beijing instead, just to be safe?

With the Earthquake, you think South Korea will ever get an earthquake that big.

The good thing about, well it's never a good thing when people die, but the good thing about the earthquake in Japan is they're saying people AREN'T looting or stealing from others.

Yakuza are the Japanese wise guys, mafia if you like.
They are more than just thieves though, they police what the
government police chooses not to police.
