So I'm planning on flying out to Korea on an F4 visa later this year, to spend some time becoming more fluent with the Language, getting myself more immersed in the Korean culture, and of course to have a good time.

I have some savings I can live off of/use to rent an apartment, but I'll most likely need a job to help support every day living. I'm not sure what I'll be able to find out there, I'll probably end up applying to some Hagwons, but I have a degree in engineering from the Univiersity of Toronto, so I may end up applying to work at a company if I see a decent opportunity.

I'm wondering what documents I might need to get a job in Korea. Should I just bring a notarized copy of my degree affixed with my local consulate seal? Do I need a copy of my university transcripts? Anything else??

Thanks in advance.

Coming on an F4 and NOT looking for a public school job then just your degree (and even that is not necessary but it may smooth things out).

If you want a PS job you will need the same as an E2 (to satisfy the POE).

I think you should secure a job first before coming, just in case.
