If you're teaching in South Korea, how many students do you normally get?

I think it depends on the type of school, from what I've read it seems that Hogwans usually have smaller classes whereas public schools seem to have around 30? I'm not 100% sure though.

If you're in a public school you'll have typically 25-40 students in your class. It depends where in the country you are and how rural it is. In some really rural areas you may have only a few students in your class.

Even in one public school, I've had classes with 40 students and classes with 9 students. It's probably best not to expect a certain number.

Agreed, expect 50 and hope you get less.

Hagwons are almost always less than 15, usually 9-12.

Last year I taught 800 students a week, 40 in each class.
This year, I have friends who work at schools that only have 35 kids total.
Completely depends on your location.
