I'm currently looking for some new work in Seoul and seeing as none of the public school positions start till August I was looking at the 3 month contract at Suyu English Village.

Does anyone have any (recent) comments or experiences? I mean, heck at 3 months I suppose it couldn't hurt to kill some time/make some money.

There are always public schools that need teachers throughout the year. The bulk of hires occur with start dates in Feb and Aug, but public schools are constantly hiring. Send some emails to different recruiters.

That's just a few that I found in about 15 seconds of searching.

I have a few recruiters looking for me but I am being relatively picky (no kinder, central Seoul) so it's been a bit of a struggle.

I worked at the Suyu English Village for 2 months before I was transferred to the Suwon English Village. (The Suwon village construction completion date was pushed back a few months.)
Anyway, I thought it was fine. The apartments are nicer than my current officetel in Gangnam but the only drawback is they are on campus. The school was huge and had a big foreign staff of 40 people. Suyu is a village bus away from the subway and then it's only a few stops to the Myeongdong/Dondaemun area. The school itself lies at the foot of Mount Bukansan so you can easily go for a nice hike.
The only thing I didn't love were the role-play classes because you literally teach the same 45 minute classes over and over. It gets really boring but the job is incredibly easy. If you're only doing three months, why not go for it?

The location is bad because it's not close to the station or even a main road. At least 10 mins to walk down and then 5-10 to get a bus going to Suyu station or a blue one into Seoul.
