Kinda shot your argument in the foot there, didn't you?

My problem is with the multitudes of mindless Apple supporters who line up to be the first to get their "overpriced" iProduct. I've noticed a bunch of iPad 2s already popping up here in the BST forum.

"Mindless Apple supporters"? Who the *beep* do you think you are to judge other people and what their gadget preferences are? Another Apple hater? What is with these bitter people and their staunch oppositions to Apple and those that choose to spend their money on a particular brand? Are you jealous? Do you have so much time on your hands that you have to go out of your way every chance you get to bash on Apple? It amazes me how neurotic some of you posters are. Someone makes a post about a particular mobile device and brand, and out come the Apple haters, the proverbial worms of dissent. Rolling Eyes

How is internet on the Ipad 2? Does it have Flash yet? Like it or hate, it is a big part of the internet experience. How about an external SD card slot, or USB input?
These are basic requirements that Apple (probably purposely) overlooked on the original Ipad.

1. Internet doesn't seem much different than ipad1.

2. No ipads have Flash.

3. No USB port but I think there is a SD card adaptor sold separately.

I just got the video adaptor which outputs to HDMI. It will effectively turn your ipad into a mini-Apple TV.

Apart from the last feature, it seems like a fairly underpowered and incomplete product. What is the attraction of such a device, apart from it's obvious aesthetic design? Some of the Android tablets seem like better all-round buys.

Rather than regurgitating the usual, illogical anti-anti-Apple rhetoric, why not explain to me how a 64gig iPad 2 is worth $829? Any reasons other than the fact that people will pay that much for one?

First, why don't you just explain why it bothers you so much that people pay Apple prices? It's odd you and other Apple-haters invest so much time in repeating the same old lines time every time an Apple thread comes up. It's a personal choice, and it won't affect you since you weren't buying Apple anyway.

What gives? You need to insult people because of the products they buy? I bet if you posted some of the other things you buy we could all have a laugh at you too. Foe example, why is a computer game worth investing in fast CPUs, and the latest equipment. Aren't you aware of the GINORMOUS markup on computer games? More than an Apple markup and you gladly pay that.

*waits for the 'being defensive' retort*

No, I didnt. Your point is that Apple could have charged less for a product. Apparently, Nintendo could have too.

Because I'm waiting for an answer to my question?

And, according to you, apparently they did.

This is like shooting apples in a barrel.

You admitted that Apple lowered the price of the iPad.

I imagine the only way you'd get anything to eat was if it were trapped in barrel.

Kinda like that retarded bear, Winnie the Pooh. Only he's lovable.

Other reasons are unnecessary and irrelevant. Apple isn't a charity. If they price the ipad too low, they lose money. If they price it too high, they lose money. They're selling *a lot* of ipads, not just to "Apple-whores" but to a crossover demographic.

But if you don't understand that now, you never will. Just admit that you're a communist and the ipad is priced out of your income bracket.

Such hostility. What happened to the Apple-loving, hippie image?

I did? Last I checked, they were charging the same thing for the new one as they did for the old one.

Much like the iPad itself.

No, the old one has been reduced in price. Just like they released the SNES for about $200 and reduced the price of the original NES to under $100. Nintendo reduced the price of the SNES to $100 later too, after people started to not buy them as much. I'm pretty sure the Game Cube and Nintendo 64 had their prices reduced as well.

Your entire argument is Apple could have charged less for the original iPod and that they were ripping people off. My point is that Nintendo could have apparently had lower prices too. Both companies lowered prices to help move an obsolete product because thats how markets work. Pretty much all of the companies that make the consoles do this. Are you angry at Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, etc....

I hope you're making a career of ESL in Korea. I cant see you being good at much else than "listen and repeat" since you apparently can barely read, and your reasoning skills arent much better.
