|
|
Hi,
As I have only used iTunes, I was wondering if someone could help me with the Korean Galaxy App Store. Do they have English apps? Can I download a torrent full of Galaxy English apps and put them on the Korean Galaxy S? Debating between an iPhone and Galaxy, just want to know which one has better apps. From what I've read, the Galaxy is freer than the iPhone when it comes to customizing it, correct? Please help.
Thanks! |

You can get free or paid apps for the Galaxy in English from the Android Market.......
.....or you can add all the non-Market apps and games you want for free from downloads.......just by a quick change in the settings. But not all these are guaranteed to work...but most do. |

Thanks! So they don't block that, I can just throw apps on the Galaxy like I'd copy something from a USB to my PC's hard drive? |

You will need a program to install those applications. I use Astro File Manager, works great. |

You can use a program like that to install, or just use the Installation Manager already installed. I've found it works just as well as the other install managers.
Of course, the most important step to get right if you are transferring apps or games from your PC is to put the .apk file into the APK folder of the Galaxy. Then they will show up in Installation Manager. |

I don't think it matters where you put the downloaded .apk file. The phone seems to detect them automatically. I always transfer them onto my external SD card and then use the default installation manager. |
