I'm looking to get a sweet suit somewhere near the seoul area. Anyone have any recommendations on a place. And can you give me an approximate price range? Looking to drop maybe 500,000, around there. |

Save your money and get one made in HoiAn, Vietnam
You can get twice the quality for 1/3 of the price. |

My uncle has done business in Seoul many times in the past and says that Itaewon has loadssss of places to get a custom-made suit.
He says the tailors bombard you in the area so they'll come to you but make sure you shop around. He says he hasn't been over there for a while but guesses a suit costs about 300 or so. |

It's a vacation or end of contract option. |

I was just measured for a suit at a place near Dongmyo-Ap Station.
Right out exit 8. I am going back for a fitting on Saturday. The place comes highly recommended from my cousin-in-law who has had many suits made there. It has been in business over 100 years so it must be alright. Just don't be put off by the really tacky suits on display. Scared me a bit at first but then I saw their normal attire and it calmed me. I will let you know after they finish my suit. |

Hahn's, at about 450,000 won, is the best option in Itaewon. |

I had two 3 piece suits, a wool overcoat, 5 silk ties and two monogrammed French cuff dress shirts all tailor made in Thailand and I paid $200 for them. Still in great shape after 5 years, although I'm getting too fat for them. |

I've had four suits made for me in Korea. I go to a place in Yeoksam on line 7. It's called Dainty. It was recommended from a friend and now I am kind of stuck knowing the women who owns the place, so I feel like I should continue using her tailoring services.
I think the average price is 300,000 won for a three-piece suit. I usually get a discount of two or three man wons when I pay cash, which I always do. |
