Does anyone know some cheap ocean cargo (LCL) companies that ship out of Korea and do personal goods shipments? The kind of company where you drop your stuff at some port/warehouse and later pick it up at the customs warehouse.
I'm leaving Korea and have lots of stuff (both heavy and bulky), so mail is no option and ordinary moving companies that do the full service tend to be ripoff. |

| Actually we're talking about a bicycle (a good one), skis, snowboard, 1 1/2 bookcases full of books, 2 wardrobes of clothes,... all together it was more than 400kg when I shipped it here, and for the post office even the bike and skis would be too bulky. My previous home is not my next home, so I had to take all the stuff that accumulated over the years with me. I've done this twice before (not in Korea though), and each time I paid around $300 plus hiring/renting a van to bring it to the warehouse. Plus I have much less breakage. |
