I'm leaving my job with GEPIK in May and going home for three months and then I am (Hopefully) going to come back in the fall for another job starting in August with a hagwon.

Is there any place that anyone knows of where one can store two or three boxes for a couple hundred thousand won while im away for three months? itd just be a pain to ship stuff back just to ship it back over again and there is a lot of big stuff like a computer monitor, speakers, winter clothes that I wont need in summer in Florida.

Does anyone have any advice?

I had a hell of a time finding a storage unit last year. There are some around Seoul but mostly out in Gyeongi-do. I dont remember the names/websites but if you get a Korean friend to help you you could probably find them. I think its pretty expensive because you have to pay for pickup or drive them out there yourself. I ended up storing my things at my local 'mart'. I used to go in there every day so I worked out a deal with the owner. He let me put my boxes in the store room for 100,000 won. I bet some local business owner would be happy to take a few boxes for 100 or 200k.

+1

The local store idea is a good one, actually.

There was a guy in Seoul who would arrange storage services for foreigners but he stopped doing it a while ago. He said they usually don't like taking stuff off of foreigners because sometimes the person doesn't come back and leaves the stuff behind.
