It's both stupid. The price was lowered before and after the release of the SNES. But why should the difference matter? Both times, they were apparently "ripping people off", charging them more for something when they could have sold their hardware a lower price. That's your entire "argument" if you can call it that.

I'm not sure why you insist on this comparison. The NES and SNES were two very different machines that came out five years apart and were marketed to and mostly used by kids.

At the risk of being dismissed as a simple Apple Hater, I have to agree that the Ipad is overpriced, when you consider what it is lacking. No Flash, no SD card slot, no USB input, no AVI, XVID codecs and so on.

I dont disagree with your point of view, which is why I havent bought an iPad either (and strongly considered an Android tablet).

However, I dont think that people who do think that the iPad meets their needs are idiots (or victims either). I'm not saying you think this cj...just putting it out there....

But regarding your comments, you can say Apple has built their business on lack of features. Their focus has always been user experience, and now apps. They let their competitors play the feature/spec race, and so far it's worked for them.
