It's happened to me last year. I coughed up enough phlegm that it agitated my throat, so blood got mixed in with the phlegm. I'm no doctor, but when it happened to me, the doc gave me some meds and told me to gargle with salt water a few times a day. I was fine a week later.

I did once, and it was while living here. I had a bit of a cold, went out drinking and smoking all night and ended up at a noraebang belting out bon jovi. The next day there was a little blood in my spit. It was gone the next day.

If I were you I'd head to the doctor if it's still there after another day or two.
