sounds exactly what i went through.
however, after i told my boss i quit i found myself connecting with the kids and found them trusting me.
they test teachers. they want to see if they can trust you. kids are afraid of adults, let alone maybe foreign looking adults heh (sorry I'm assuming you're not Korean)
I actually feel terrible that I'll be leaving the kids, but the kids would be the only reason I'd stay. The environment is miserable and I find myself doing everything on the spot because of very little communication and organization.
I would wait and see how it goes. If its your first time with Korean kindergarten kids, then I'd definitely give them some time. Do whatever you can with rewards, with just smiling at them and allowing them to open up to you If it's really bad then I'd talk to them and give them enough time for them to find a new teacher. The school wil also want a teacher who wants to be around kindergaten kids rather than someone who doesn't so they'll be willing to find someone. |

Yes, like adults, kids do test teachers. |
